Art Dialog 2026 - Interspaces

The Art Dialog – Interspaces symposium is part of the gallery's long tradition of organizing international gatherings of teachers and young artists from art schools at Klenová Chateau. Held every two years in the form of a biennial and organized by guarantor and curator Adéla Matasová in collaboration with Tom Kotik, the project focuses on multimedia works that engage in a dialog with the natural and cultural context of the region while exploring the possibilities for creative communication and mutual influences among formal tendencies in contemporary art.

Coming together this year for an exchange of creative knowledge in the outdoors of the West Bohemian countryside will be participants from important foreign and domestic institutions such as the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Prague's AVU and FAMU, and Brno University of Technology's Faculty of Fine Arts. Other selected universities from the Czech Republic round out this unique forum for discussing the meaning and function of art with a view to other, non-artistic disciplines.

The more than ten-day process of intense collaboration culminates in an exhibition highlighting the potential of the emerging generation of artists, held in the unique spaces of the historical granary at Klenová.
