Inspiris Film Corporationin Vienna hledá herečku do filmu o Plzni
In cooperation with Austrian broadcaster ORF and several other broadcasters in the German-speaking TV landscape, we are currently developing a documentary series about the European Capitals of Culture. In this series we want to portray 10 cities, which received this title.
As Pilsen attained this title in 2015, we are planning on shooting one film in the city.
We are looking for a woman, born after the year of 1985 (the year of the first given title of European Capital of Culture) that will guide the audience through the city (that is a common thread running through the series).
The idea is that in every city a woman shows the audience her city from her subjective point of view. The woman we are looking for should speak German (as the film is produced for German speaking broadcasters) and should have a special connection to the city in a way...and of course should not be afraid of being filmed and on TV.
Our main protagonist could be a student, an actress, a musician, an artist, an architect, ... and so on ...

Since 1985 one can apply for the title ‘European Capital of Culture’. By now the initiative has become the most established transboundary cultural project of the European Union. The main objective of this initiative is to display the richness and diversity amongst the people of the various European countries in order to create an appreciation of the cultural and traditional manifoldness and to further cross-cultural understanding. In the ten-part documentary series Inspiris Film wants to capture and convey this sentiment cinematically.
Each film will feature political, historical, and cultural as well as culinaryspecialities of the selected city. As a recurrent theme creatively produced sections will insert peculiar facts and stories. Through each episode a local woman born after the year of 1985 will guide us as she has a fresh view on the cities with their history and tradition. The documentary series ‘European Capitals of Culture’ wants to grasp a tolerant, open-minded and multifaceted sentiment in order to conduce to an appreciation of our manifoldness.
